Meet the founder.
Born in France and raised in Texas. When Marc Tuinier moved to The Netherlands, his first venture was when he co-founded WeTeachU in 2017, a company dedicated to helping businesses use Apple devices more efficiently. Through several subsequent (unsuccessful) startups, he launched PenTips in 2020, a successful business focused on writing and designing digitally with Apple Pencil on iPad.
However, as long as Marc could write, he did so on paper. He believes in the enduring power of handwriting and the multiple benefits we have by doing so. But, in this fast-paced digital world, handwritten notes often get misplaced or lost; that’s how he brought Nuwa to life. With Nuwa, Marc has set out to develop spatial computers and launch the world’s first pen that “sees” what you write - Nuwa Pen. These innovations show Marc’s persistence to enable individuals to harness the uniqueness and personal touch of their handwriting in a modern, digital way.
